The coast at Hastings Point opens out past the dune scrub, the beach reaching north with clean lines of surf running its full length and the water grading from pale green in the shallows to deep blue offshore.

This is the wider companion to the closer tea tree frame. Pulling back changes what the photograph is about: less about the texture of the bush in front of you and more about how far the sand actually runs once it leaves the point behind.

The drone's 100MP Hasselblad camera keeps them separated all the way to the far end of the beach rather than blurring into one grey band.
