I have flown The Basin enough times now to stop chasing the postcard and start chasing composition. For this one I worked the drone around the pool looking for the frame where the reef ring, the sand channels and the swimmers all resolved into something that looks almost designed.

Nature hands you that kind of graphic balance occasionally, and when it does you have about a minute before the light or the swimmers move and it is gone.
