Product Description

Aerial photography of Scarborough Beach in Perth, Western Australia, shows a line of beachfront buildings behind wide white sand, with turquoise shallows filling the foreground and soft lines of foam reaching the shore.

The town, the sand and the water sit in clear horizontal bands, so the piece reads easily from across a room and rewards a closer look.

The picture holds three layers at once: the town along the top, the sand through the middle and the clear water across the bottom half. I kept the exposure even so the buildings, the bright sand and the colour of the water all hold detail together.
